The British action thriller film V for Vendetta based off the graphic novel by Alen Moore of the same title, tells the story of a woman named Evey and a terrorist who goes by the alias V. The film follows both characters over the course of 1 year in a near future Britan, we see them both live in a very politically driven world and we see how they both deal with it. Evey excepts the fact that this is the world that she lives in and obeys the rules she is told to follow and in result she suffers with fears and anxieties. V however takes matters into his hands and although he uses rather extreme measures to get his point across which is that the British government has gone too far and that he is not the villain but that the British government is, he does get it across to the British people and they begin to fight back against the government for whats right. We also see V help Evey come overcome her fears of the world and overall become a better and stronger person. V for Vendetta shows us how giving power to the wrong people can be dangerous and that sometimes we need to fight back against the people who put us into negative positions and that rather then just hoping for good to come into our lives, we need to make the good come into our lives by putting good into the world.
